Our History
Leelex Ltd was founded in 2000 to take on Oporto. It’s founder Ged Feltham is still at the helm and is the company’s Managing Director. He has since been joined by Paul Lane (Operations Director) in 2002 and in 2004 by the infamous Jake Burger (Drinks Director)
As a team they have gone on to create Jake’s Bar and Grill, The Angel’s Share and their first London project the Portobello Star. September 2009 saw them return to Leeds for their 5th bar, Neon Cactus
Leelex Ltd are also actively involved in Dead Young Records, a Leeds based Record label
and live music company

Leelex is a Bar, restaurant and music company. We currently operate 5 venues with the fifth, Neon Cactus, having opened September 2009 and are partners in dead young records. Our company’s aim is to create unique venues and projects.
Our ambitions are simple ones of mixing great drinks, pouring cold beer, serving tasty food and always playing cracking tunes.
